Program Management
Effective program management is one of the most important components of a successful EFAP. Each of the organizations Interlock services is assigned a Program Manager who will work with you to ensure the smooth implementation and thriving operation of your EFAP. Your Interlock Program Manager will come to have considerable knowledge of your organization and will be available to:
  • assist in the development of your organization's EFAP policy and procedures.
  • provide your supervisors and key personnel with training and ongoing consultation to effectively intervene with a troubled employee.
  • assist in the development and implementation of a promotional program for your EFAP.
  • visit your worksites to promote and personalize the EFAP.
  • report on EFAP activities and provide information regarding trends.
  • identify sensitive workplace issues such as substance abuse and work unit stress that may be affecting the morale and productivity of your employees. This is done in a way that protects confidentiality at all times.
  • tailor the EFAP to meet the specific and changing needs of your organization.

Critical Incident and Stress Debriefing
In the event of a critical incident, Interlock's specifically trained trauma counsellors are available to your staff and will attend the worksite or any other location deemed necessary. The effects of stress from traumatic incidents can seriously impair an employee's ability to perform on the job as well as impact negatively on their personal life. Responding immediately, by debriefing your employees involved in traumatic incidents, has been shown to have long term positive effects for their work and personal lives.

A Masters level counsellor is on call 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

Organizational Development Services
Interlock will work with your organization to identify and address issues that may be affecting productivity, efficiency and morale. As your EFAP we can provide your organization with training, expertise and support for resolution of work unit issues such as:
  • team building
  • conflict resolution
  • workplace facilitation
  • communication

Our organizational development services are specifically designed to meet the needs of each organization. We also offer scheduled workshops and seminars on a variety of subjects that are available to individuals from each of the organizations we serve.

disAbility Management Services
Interlock’s partnership with Acclaim Ability Management Inc. offers the our customers a wide range of services designed to support employee wellness and productivity. Interlock customers can purchase those services which fit with their internal Human Resources plan and budget. Organizations have the option of receiving these services on a fee-for-service basis or on the basis of an annual retainer. Examples of services available are as follows:

  • objective assessments and independent medical examinations
